THE PURPOSE OF THE CHANGE SPECIALIST WILL BE:

To support the management of the change process and procedures. Working closely with colleagues from all business areas, and supporting the Change Manger in ensuring that all change activities relating to the production environments are fully documented, scheduled, and that the change management process has been adhered to, they must be able to work in a highly dynamic environment, either individually or as part of a team

WE’D LIKE TO MEET A CHANGE SPECIALIST WITH:

• Minimum 3yrs of work experience in Change Management
• ITIL qualified to Foundation Level or significant experience working in a similar role in an ITIL environment
• Demonstrable knowledge of ITIL standards
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Organized and methodical in the approach to routine and administrative matters

THE CHANGE SPECIALIST RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Supporting the management of changes through their lifecycle, from submission to the completion and closure of the change requests
• Providing the Change Manger with documentation of Post Implementation Reviews for all changes, including lessons learnt for review and sign off
• Supporting the Change Manager in coordinating changes across SSP, ensuring correct procedures are followed, and changes are accurately recorded, scheduled and controlled
• Providing the Change Manger with initial priority and impact of changes being raised
• Supporting the Change Manager in coordinating change approvals, liaising between approvers and initiators
• Supporting the Change Manager in preparing and distributing regular reports and analysis
• Proactively checking the status of changes and liaising with all areas within SSP to progress requests, checking status and chasing information where necessary throughout the Change lifecycle
• Continually monitoring the designated change queue in Service Desk
• Updating change management tool following CAB and advising the change requester and implementer of decision
• Chairing CAB in the absence of the Change Manager
• Producing forward schedule of change and any change reports required by this business, include CAB agenda and minutes.
• Reviewing and closing changes
• Acting as a focal point on a day to day basis for all change management issues or enquiries where necessary, preparing all documentation (including reports, agendas and minutes) for Change Advisory Board (CAB)
• Leading regular and ad-hoc meetings and preparing presentations if required
• To Promote and adhere to ITIL guidelines, best practices and documentation, ensuring colleagues follow the guidelines
• To Collects and uses feedback from customers and stakeholders to help measure effectiveness of stakeholder management.

THE PURPOSE OF THE SOFTWARE DEVELOPER WILL BE:
We are growing our Gurgaon office for Software Engineers who can contribute to the programming innovative solutions which will include projects across a variety of solutions in Digital, SaaS/PaaS, DevOps and Cloud in a global team. You will get involved in testing, module development in current and new environments, contribute to development processes, procedures and leading with examples and ideas.
As a Software Engineer you will be working with systems that deal with millions of insurance quotes a day and so, by using your knowledge and experience of software engineering, you will help the team continue to provide market leading solutions to our customers.

THE SOFTWARE DEVELOPER RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• To work almost independently in all phases of the development cycle including functional enhancements/changes, issue fixing, unit testing and integration testing
• To adhere to prescribed SSP development processes, procedures and standards
• To produce quality software and logical estimates within realistic timescales
• To be able to quickly identify risks and issues, report them in a timely manner and update status reports as needed. Be able to suggest and undertake any mitigating actions
• To keep the Senior Software Engineer informed of any events affecting the work allocated for each release
• Capable of understanding and contributing to implementation of technical solution from design through to code
• Support LIVE clients within agreed OLAs
• Provide out of office hours’ support for LIVE clients
• Maintain high standards of software quality by adhering to agreed good coding practices
• Participate in peer-reviews of code implementation
• Quick learner and ready to learn new technologies like Edge Connect

WE’D LIKE TO MEET A SOFTWARE DEVELOPER WITH:

• Full time Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Electronics, Computer Science, Information Technology)
• Should have expertise in-
1. At least 2 years in AngularJS, Java Script, XSLT, HTML5/CSS, Ajax/JSON
2. At least 3 years in design and Development of .NET Core 3.0, Azure Dev Ops
3. Working experience on Razor components is preferred
4. Strong knowledge of development best practices, development methodologies & standards.
5. Experienced with SVN\GIT version control and continuous integration
6. SoapUI, XML, SQL, DB2/Oracle, WAS and Apache/IBM HTTP server
• Adhere to industry standard coding practices to write secured and optimized code for all above
• Thorough understanding of SDLC processes to drive best practices
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills to interface with various teams

THE PURPOSE OF THE SENIOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPER WILL BE:

To be an integral part of an Agile Software Team in a senior role, leading the contribution of code and artefacts in order to support delivery of secure quality software


WE’D LIKE TO MEET A SENIOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPER WITH:

• Technical graduate- B.tech/B.E., or equivalent qualifications, plus considerable work experience in a relevant role. OR Substantial work experience in a relevant role
• Demonstrable 6+yrs practical experience in the development of software for external customers
• Ability to work within agreed time estimates
• Java/J2EE experience in developing scalable customer applications
• OOPS concepts, Core Java and various design patterns using JAVA (1.7 or later)
• Expected to be competent in undertaking a range of technical support activities. Extensive knowledge and experience of :
a) Agile processes and practices
b) Test Driven Development and Test Practices including Junit
c) Leading customer engagement
d) Acting as the team internal representative
e) Requirement backlogs
f) Web services
g) Azure DevOps/Gitlab/Bugzilla

Technical skills required:-

1. Java, J2EE, Servlets and MVC

THE SENIOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPER RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Maintains knowledge of specific technical specialisms, provides detailed advice regarding their application and executes specialised tasks.
• Investigates corporate data requirements, and applies data analysis, data modelling and quality assurance techniques, to establish, modify or maintain data structures and their associated components (entity descriptions, relationship descriptions, attribute definitions).
• Recommends/designs structures and tools for systems which meet business needs. Delivers technical visualisation of proposed applications for approval by customer and execution by system developers. Translates logical designs into physical designs, and produces detailed design documentation. Maps work to user specification and removes errors and deviations from specification to achieve user-friendly processes
• Designs, codes, tests, corrects and documents large and/or complex programs and program modifications from supplied specifications using agreed standards and tools, to achieve a well-engineered result. Takes part in reviews of own work and leads reviews of colleagues' work
• Liaises with clients/users to clarify details of requirements. Designs, creates and tests moderately complex, well-engineered information deliverables with specified content and layout. Manages the configuration of documentation items and files, within own area of responsibility

ACCOUNTABILITY

• To adhere to prescribed SSP development processes, procedures and standards
• Analysing change requests ranging from minor fixes to major functional changes
• To adequately test developed software to demonstrate that components meet all functional and technical requirements and to ensure the software is of a high quality

• To report progress of assignments
• To assist in the design and specification of components in accordance with the user requirements or system specification
• To Implement selected solutions and document the changes made
• To prototype new or amended software in accordance with the technical brief given
• To work as part of a dedicated team, leading customer engagement
• To keep the Delivery Manager informed of progress in the prescribed format
• To highlight any innovations, suggestions or projects which would improve efficiency, professionalism or profitability
• To produce quality software and accurate estimates within realistic timescales
• To act as the Application Subject Matter Expert
• Takes ownership for learning
