The purpose of the Technical Delivery Manager will be:

To manage all technical project aspects and resources in order to ensure timely, efficient and successful implementations on time, to budget and expectations. Providing mentoring to internal team members.

We’d like to meet a Technical Delivery Manager with:

• Extensive knowledge of Insurer Select product within the insurance industry.
•Either a relevant bachelors degree or higher certificate, at least five years of relevant experience and/or a relevant vendor certification
• Analysis experience looking for information needs and specifying technology to meet those needs.
• Ability to formulate and direct information and communication technology (ICT) strategies, policies and plans.
• Extensive experience of directing the selection and installation of ICT resources and the provision of user training.
• Some work experience of directing ICT operations and setting priorities between systems.
• Knowledge of overseeing the security of ICT systems.

The Technical Delivery Manager Responsibilities include:

• Take responsibility for all technical aspects of the project over the entire project life (initiate, plan, execute, control, close).
• Must be familiar with system scope and project objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member, to effectively coordinate the activities of the team.
• Follow Implementation Methodology and best practices. Input in to the preparation of project plans/ schedules, reports and budgets. Track and monitor all technical deliverables, calendars and meetings as necessary. Set performance goals for team members.
• Anticipates and resolves customer issues through negotiation and leveraging a range of resources, working cross-functionally as necessary. Assess the potential impact on own and others’ work, and develop and execute the best work solution. Manage escalated situations as proactively as possible, involving management as needed.
• Monitors and manages customer expectations and experiences throughout the implementation.
• Manage delivery risks, including the development of contingency plans
• Assign and monitor a wide range of tasks based on skills, experience and availability; clearly communicating task priorities, helping personnel and adjusting workload as needed.
• Monitor progress and check actual performance against planned performance to ensure technical delivery goals are met or exceeded.
• Maintain accurate forecasts for resource requirements and deliverable schedules
• Collect inputs and prepare weekly and monthly status reports as required. Explain any deviations from planned budgets and schedules. In addition, prepare and support regular management reviews.
• Provide technical and leadership guidance and direction to personnel to ensure proper, timely completion of work.
• Provide personnel with timely, constructive, and actionable feedback that increases individual and team effectiveness.
• Interact frequently with team, management and customers to define delivery requirements and identify solutions consistent with defined terms, methodology, policy, and regulations. Develop strong customer relationships as ‘trusted advisor’ at project management and senior management levels.

The purpose of the financial accountant will be:

To manage the performance of services to SSP clients as agreed in the contract and ensure that the service levels are achieved.

We’d like to meet a financial accountant with:

• Minimum of 3+ years’ experience as a Financial Accountant, with tax experience.
• CA or CIMA qualification is essential.
• Conscientious - must take ownership and responsibility for allocated work being confident and approachable.
• Accurate - must have the ability to check own work for accuracy and reasonableness before passing on for review and have the ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills with good knowledge of Excel.

The Financial accountant Responsibilities include:

• Oversee the preparation and consolidation of tax computations & tax-related matters.
• Develop and manage the implementation of tax planning projects utilising internal and external contacts.
• Perform financial compliance & Internal audit role as member of the Group Risk Committee.
• Manage the company secretarial compliance responsibilities and the Groups international Insurance management function.
• Undertake Financial Analyses for the Business & Shareholders.
• Preparation and completion of subsidiary financial statements.
• Undertake and manage ad-hoc projects ensuring comprehensive financial review and cross department communication.
• Managing payroll.
